Principal Designer and Owner
Diana is a graduate of the Interior Design program at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University), but her pathway to design started in childhood, when she flourished through her love of drawing and painting as a means of creative expression. As a girl, she recalls watching her mother renovating and decorating their beautiful home, chiming in with her opinions and preferences, seeing the transformation of the family home, and recalling how different she felt in the final result. It’s that transformative feeling that she wants each of her clients to experience.
In adulthood, the field of interior design allows Diana to channel her innate creativity whenever she finds herself sketching concepts, working with colour and seeing the final product, whether it is custom millwork or furniture. Diana’s discerning taste and design style is sophisticated yet approachable, qualities visible in each of her projects through the years.
Diana’s formal education combined with 30 years of practical experience have equipped her with skills spanning every facet of interior design, from construction to space planning, millwork design and custom décor.
Diana also has a passion for the business side of interior design, and has a continuous coordination and communication with her team of contractors, suppliers and clients. From concept to completion, Diana prides herself on her robust supportive roster of professional collaborators, each contributing their unique talents to carry out the shared vision for success.
“My design philosophy is that our home has a profound impact on our well-being. If we surround ourselves with beautiful spaces that are also practical for everyday living, our home can bring us much joy to our daily life.” – Diana Bastone
